On average, hospice services receive only one-third of their overall funding from the Government via the NHS and the funding received hasn’t risen in line with increasing costs.
This means that each year we have a huge shortfall, and we rely heavily on donations, legacies, and grants to help us keep our doors open.
Can you help us fund our nurses by donating what you can? Every donation we receive will go towards paying for our nurses and the medical care they give to people every single day.
Here's how your funding can help Fund St. Rocco's Nurses:
We would love you to join in this celebration by sharing photos of the nurses in your family and any memories you have of St Rocco’s Hospice over the years.
Please send your photos to MarketingTeam@stroccos.org.uk
Thank you for your support, together we can make everyday count!
Florence Nightingale was born on 12th May 1820. She is considered the founder of modern nursing. We celebrate National Nurses’ Week in May to coincide with her birthday.
St Rocco’s Hospice has a team of 28 nurses and 13 healthcare assistants who work on our ward and in our Palliative Care Hub.
