This free service is provided by volunteers who have been specially trained to offer neighbourly support in a variety of ways, such as:

• Sitting with someone for a chat.
• Sitting with someone whilst their carer goes out.
• Shopping for very small items.
• Taking the client out.
• Collecting prescriptions.
• Spending time talking to clients who require some company.
• Light gardening/dog walking

...and other duties as requested from time to time by the nursing staff or Voluntary Services Manager.  

Support & Supervision

Rocco’s on Your Doorstep Volunteers are supported by the Hospice at Home Co-ordinator and the Voluntary Services Manager.
