Meet Sylvie, Quality Lead

As Quality Lead, my role is a very varied one and includes developing and delivering education and training for all clinical staff as well as developing and supporting clinical practice across the hospice, to ensure our staff deliver a high standard of care to all of our patients.

How long have you worked at St Rocco’s?

I have worked at St Rocco’s for 25 years now. During this time, I have had many different roles including Staff Nurse, IPU sister, Clinical Educator, Clinical Lead for IPU and Clinical Nurse Specialist!

What is your favourite song/music?

My favourite song is ‘Castles on the Hill’ by Ed Sheeran.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself

I support Ipswich Town Football Club.

What is the best thing about your job?

Caring for patients. Working for a small charity where everyone supports each other for the benefit of our patients and their families.

What do you do to switch off from work?

I enjoy relaxing with family and friends.
