Palliative Care Part Time Staff Nurse Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the nursing team at St. Rocco's Hospice. We are looking to recruit a part time nurse for our In-Patient Unit, with an opportunity to work across all clinical departments, including the outreach services.
The successful applicant should be an enthusiastic nurse who strives to deliver a high standard of quality care and is able to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Please specify in your application your preferred working pattern / hours. Hours will be worked between Mon to Sun, including days, nights, evenings and weekends, on a rota system, following discussion and agreement with your line manager.
Salary: £16.47 per hour.
Unsociable Hours Enhancement
Hours worked at the following times will be paid as follows for rostered shifts that are worked: Monday to Friday from 8pm until 8am - £21.95, Saturday - £21.95, Sunday and Bank Holiday - £27.44 - T&Cs apply. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview, breaks are unpaid.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Ward Manager, Clinical Lead for IPU the main purpose of this role is to provide the highest standard of physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for patients, their relatives and friends. You will use your expertise to the highest standards in order to meet all the requirements of our clinical governance.
Applicants must be on the NMC register and be fully qualified RGN / Adults. In addition to your proven clinical skills, we are looking for excellent communication skills, empathy and sensitivity, good team working and a flexible approach to the role.
