Both companies, along with Walker Begley Chartered Accountants, have agreed to sponsor a colour station at the event where participants can run, jog or walk the 3km course while getting covered in different coloured powdered paint thrown from the colour stations along the way.
Last year’s event was sold out with over 800 runners of all ages forming a rainbow trail along the course whilst raising over £25,000 to support patient care at St. Rocco’s, which as a registered charity, relies on over 70% of its funding being generated by the local community.
“St. Rocco’s Colour Run is a fantastic event for young and old alike,” said Lauren Tilston, St. Rocco’s Fundraising Manager. “It really is a great way to spend a Bank Holiday afternoon and the sponsorship raised really does make a difference to our patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives.”
Registration is open, but with the event expected to be equally popular this year, don’t delay signing up, go to /events/st-roccos-colour-run/.
There is still space for one more company to sponsor the event. If you organisation is interested, then please email charlierowan@stroccos.org.uk or phone 01925 575780.
