Meet Pippa, Ward Manager

As Ward Manager I am responsible for the nurses and healthcare assistants on our inpatient unit. It's my job to ensure we deliver a high standard of care to our patients. I like to be a hands on member of the team so you’ll usually find me on the inpatient unit, supporting with some of the nursing duties.

How long have you worked at St Rocco’s?

Nearly a year now!

What is your favourite food?

I love Chinese food, but my favourite would have to be either spag bol or a rare steak.

What is your favourite song/music?

Yungblud and Bring Me the Horizon are my favourite bands; I listen to metal music most.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself

I used to be terrified of spiders, but I now own tarantulas!

What is the best thing about your job?

Supporting the families and the team on the inpatient unit.

What do you do to switch off from work?

I volunteer at a horse rescue, read, and play the game SIMS. My family are really supportive and understanding.
