Meet Sarah McLoughlin, Head of Academy at The TUCO Foundation
Why did you decide to support St. Rocco's?
I have friends who have had family members use St. Rocco’s so I know what a great support it is in the Warrington Community. I also have a lovely friend who works there so I know the passion and commitment the team have in providing exceptional care and dignity for loved ones who need it at that point in their life. Also the people I’ve met who work and volunteer at the hospice are extraordinary in what they do and I wanted to show my support for them.
What is your previous dancing experience and how are you feeling about dancing?
I think I did some Scottish Country dancing at school and maybe a social salsa dance lesson but I know from experience that I am the person who has to be at the back of a gym class so no-one follows me going the wrong way from the instructor…….I have mixed feelings but I promise to practice hard!
What are you hoping the experience of dancing for St. Rocco’s is going to be like?
I went to the 2023 Strictly for St. Rocco’s and I had such a great time, being a dancer looked like great fun but I’d also love to be able to do one dance well!
